Leon parked in the driveway of the address Jared had sent to him. The house looked small, like a mini cottage. He sat down for sometime and sighed, how was he going to face the man He had wrongly accused? How would he start to tell him the truth? did he regain his memory? and what was the surprise Jared told him about? He jumped suddenly when someone banged on his car window, He looked at Jared's grinning face, "You little prick," he mouthed and opened his car door getting out.

"Are you ready?" Jared asked tauntingly.

"No." Leon grounded.

"Okay then, let's go," Jared grinned even more. what was so funny?

"Remember who's paying you," Leon threatened, truth is, he wasn't ready at all.

"Oh, you are paying me to deliver news, shocks and surprises, Sir, and that's what I'm doing," Jared glanced back at Leon.

"Wait, does he remember?" Leon asked.

"Aww, is Mr.Durand scared?"

"Jared," Leon grounded his teeth.

"Okay Okay, no, it's your lucky day, he doesn't," Leon sighed in relief and followed Jared.

"What did you tell him?"

"Nothing, just saw him from a distance, didn't want to get close," great.
The two walked in silence until they reached the doorstep to the cottage, Jared rang the bell and they heard footsteps running towards the door. Tiny footsteps, tiny? had Alex married and given birth to kids? The door suddenly burst open and Leon looked up to see nothing. He frowned, then looked down and his eyes widened, green eyes in a blonde head stared back at him.

His heart thumped very hard against his chest, he opened his mouth to say something but words chocked him, a sudden burst of emotions hit him and all at once tears started sliding down his face, he turned to Jared, "What the hell, " he whispered.
(woulda loved to make this a cliffhanger but nah, I ain't that....)
"I know you," the little voice made him turn again at the issue at hand.

"You do?" he asked

"Not really, but your face is familiar, " she shrugged. Leon felt like bursting into fresh tears. His daughter was alive, but how could it be, she was supposed to be dead, did that mean that his wife was also alive? His heart beat faster as he looked at the girl, then Jared, "Why the hell did you not warn me?"

"You called me just today, the same day I found them, I was also still speechless, "

"Them? Are they all alive?"

"Are you going to stay out here the all day, I'm getting cold," the little girl complained.

"Percy, will you close the door, the wind is blowing in," A voice said from inside. Jared and Leon entered inside and Leon looked around, he wanted to grab his daughter and suffocate her into a hug but he didn't want to scare the little girl.

"We have visitors," Percy announced grinning proudly.

"Oh yeah, I'm coming, make them feel at home," The voice replied.

"One is familiar, " Percy said as her green eyes pierced through Leon. Three years he had missed to see his daughter grow up, she was four the last time he saw her, She was just a replica of Viollette. The man that was speaking earlier rounded the corner. His eyes met Leon's and widened, "Leon Durand?" Alex said as a grin spread on his face. Leon frowned.

"You remember me?" Leon asked.

"Ofcoarse I do, we grew up together you nut, then I had to go away," Alex said and automatically went over to Leon, drawing him in a hug.

"What do you mean you had to go away? " Leon asked.

"Oh, okay, wait, that girl who has just left the room is Percy, she's the daughter of a friend of mine who died in an accident with his wife,"

"What? Dead?"

"Yeah, only Percy here survived, " Alex said.

"Who told you all this?" Leon asked.

"The doctor, actually I don't really believe the whole story because sometimes I get flashbacks of what really happened, like I was there, only my friend wasn't, but I don't think about it anymore, because it gives me migraines every time I try to remember, but you my friend, I remember you clearly, I don't know why I've never gotten around to coming over to your house, how are your parents?"

"What?" Leon was shocked, "What do you remember, Alex?"

"I was practically staying with you, and your dad had given me a room right next to you, we were seventeen and then, nothing, I've to guess the rest, it's like a puzzle, " he sighed and leant back in his seat,."So, how did you find me, what brings you here?" he looked at them expectantly.

"To tell you the whole truth, Alex. Percy's dad is not dead, and you did not leave home at seventeen, we grew up together and worked together as well, I got married to a girl you introduced to me, we had a baby, four years later, a close relative told me with evidence that you were having an affair with my wife, it was hard to believe, I confronted her and we fought, that night She left, taking my child with her. I don't really know what happened from there, but later the police called and said they were involved in an accident, a man, a woman and a baby. I went to the hospital, my wife and baby the doctors said had died and the man, my friend was alive but had lost his memory. It was so painful for me, I had lost everything in one night, I left the city, I went to the country house and stayed there for three years,"

"You fool, if you had waited a little bit, you would have known that Percy was still alive,"

"I was crushed and now I can't even describe what I feel now, to know that my friend was actually innocent and my daughter was still alive, I...."

"You are my dad?" All eyes turned towards the girl who stood there with her eyes full of tears.

"Yes Percy, I am so sorry, I thought you were dead," Leon said softly.

"So you didn't leave me?"

"No, my heart has always been with you," The little girl suddenly ran towards her father and fell in his arms, Leon knelt down so he could hug his daughter, finally. His body shook as he let himself cry in her neck.

"Don't cry daddy, I love you," Percy whispered in his ears.

"I love you too, baby," he said then he looked up at Alex and mouthed, "I'm sorry," his friend shook his head and shrugged. Leon didn't want to let go but it looked like his daughter already wanted out of the hug.

"Are you taking me with you? But I can't leave Alex behind, you have to take him too," Percy said firmly.

"Ofcoarse honey, anything for you and my friend,"

"Look, Leon, my mind is still a mess right now but you don't have to do anything out of guilt," Alex said.

"No, Alex, I deserve a punishment for all the things I've done, but you have a place where you belong, where people love you. You are a pro at numbers Alexander and we were running the company well together," Leon said with a grin.
